2007 Jana Leelanau Peninsula Riesling
- Style: Med-Dry
- Type: Late Harvest
- Region/Appellation: Leelanau Peninsula
Being a German trained winemaker I love making Riesling and feel that Michiga grows some of the best Riesling in America. The wine grown by Black & Red Vineyard in Omina oon Leelanau Peninsula was produced at 45 North Winery in Lake Leelanau, Michigan.
Produced in a dry, crisp style with a light amount of spritz. This wine is redolent with complex aromas and flavors of apple and pear, and will accompany Asian food or your favorite mushroom or chicken dish.
2008 Jana Napa Valley Riesling
- Style: Med-Dry
- Type: Table
- Region/Appellation: Napa Valley
Napa Valley Old Vine Riesling planted in 1969 (39 year old vines) by the McGill's in the Rutherford bench of Napa Valley. The 2008 vintage was harvested on the 23rd of August producing perfect fruit to produce Riesling full of flavor and varietal character. They came into the winery at an extremely low crop size of less than 2 tons per acre, thus giving the wine a European quality.
Made in a dry and crisp delicate style with hints of litchi nut and pears, this wine will accompany Asian food and light chicken or pork dishes.
2006 Angel Ice
